Definitions:

• HMO
  Health Maintenance Organization - Insurances that are usually associated with a Medical Group.

• Senior HMO
  Medicare HMO coverage.

• POS
  Point of Service Plan - Insurances allowing several options to use, like HMO or PPO.

• PPO
  Preferred Provider Organization - Insurances offering discounts for using panel providers.

• IPA
  Medical Group/Independent Practice Association. A panel of doctors contracted to provide care to multiple insurance plans through a local contract.

• Commercial
  Group insurance usually provided through an employer.
